Feature Request: WiiM Multiroom CI Amplifier (4‑Zone) Based on WiiM Amp Pro/Ultra Architecture
There is a clear and growing demand for a professional‑grade, multi‑zone amplifier in the WiiM ecosystem built on WiiM’s modern streaming platform, DSP capabilities, and competitive pricing. The request is for a 4‑zone, rack‑mountable multiroom amplifier that essentially integrates four WiiM Amp Pro/Ultra modules into a single chassis.
This would fill a major gap in the CI (custom installation) market and give installers and advanced users a powerful, affordable alternative to HEOS, MusicCast, BluOS, and Sonos.
The Yamaha XDA‑QS5400RK is discontinued in many regions.
The Bluesound B400S is overpriced for most homes.
Sonos has no CI‑grade multi‑zone amp at all.
WiiM is perfectly positioned to disrupt this space with a modern, efficient, and affordable solution.
4× WiiM Amp Pro/Ultra → 1 unified CI amplifier
This product would fill a real market need and strengthen WiiM’s position as the most innovative and accessible audio ecosystem available today.
Summary
There is a clear and growing demand for a professional‑grade, multi‑zone amplifier in the WiiM ecosystem built on WiiM’s modern streaming platform, DSP capabilities, and competitive pricing. The request is for a 4‑zone, rack‑mountable multiroom amplifier that essentially integrates four WiiM Amp Pro/Ultra modules into a single chassis.
This would fill a major gap in the CI (custom installation) market and give installers and advanced users a powerful, affordable alternative to HEOS, MusicCast, BluOS, and Sonos.
Why This Product Makes Sense for WiiM
1. Huge Market Gap
The HEOS Drive HS2 is aging, expensive, and limited.
Proposed Product: “WiiM Multiroom Amp (4‑Zone)”

A single 1U/2U rack‑mountable chassis containing four independent WiiM Amp Pro/Ultra signal paths, each with:- Independent streaming
- Independent DSP
- Independent inputs/outputs
- Independent volume control
- Independent multiroom grouping
4× WiiM Amp Pro/Ultra → 1 unified CI amplifier
Key Features Requested

- 4 stereo zones, each with:
- 2× speaker outputs (4–8 Ω)
- 1× subwoofer output (LFE or low‑passed)
- 1× line‑in (analog)
- 1× digital input (optical or coax)
- High‑efficiency Class D amplification
- Ideally 100–150 W per channel @ 8 Ω

- Better reliability and easier management
For WiiM
