Features wanted in a Wiim Ultra 2

I suffer from myopia, astigmatism and smartphone presbyopia, so I require a screen of at least 24 inches

I think the answer to this issue would be an output to a large external touch screen monitor of your choice.

I chose Wiim mostly for the quality software integration with streaming services as well as self hosted music..along with having competent hardware.

I'd gladly upgrade to a similar model that's been upgraded in every way and would gladly pay more. Faster CPU, gold plated connectors, OLED screen, heavier and more substantial case, etc.

I'd really like to see Wiim make an AVR killer that also did two channel well, and I think that's something that's sorely missing in the market.

Being the volume knob the only thing I dislike about the ultra , it would be better to have a bigger screen , the volume could be controlled form it like the NAD M10

I would rather see a better volume control knob. A "real" one, if you know what I mean. I don't like the way it's done on the M10.

I'd prefer an HDMI output so that ripped files of multichannel Blu-ray Audio, DVD-A and SACD discs can be played from an attached USB hard drive. As mentioned like the Eversolo DMP-A6.

Make it the build quality of an Eversolo DMP-A6, throw in dual mono ES9039PRO DACs that measure as good as anything out there. I want the Eversolo build with the WiiM software.

Yes, that would be fine with me. I want the build quality of the Eversolo, and for WiiM to take everything to the next level. Give it retina OLED, dual high end DACs with an analog output stage that will measure incredibly well at ASR. I'm willing to pay for that as an option, and I want to stay in the single WiiM ecosystem for multi-room play and simplicity...but I'm really eyeing that A6...

There’s more than one way to hook up subs dude. So no I wouldn’t, my subs are driven by the output transformers on my amp, So no. I would say that the ultra sub adjustments affect the fronts too much and is marginal at best. Leave the sub to the integrated and the subs crossover. MY OPINION

Genuine question, but what tangible and meaningful improvement would a faster CPU provide over the current ultra?
