Thanks all for your feedback!
General boards tend to be the ones that get all the action from people who don't know what to post where, but it might be the play here to make things easier for new folks.
Do you all think having slightly consolidated boards for WiiM Amps, Streamers, Speakers, and Remotes would make enough sense without naming each device in the board title? When the WiiM Amp Mega Pro Ultra Max comes out, it'd be great not to have to keep adding a new board for it.
It sounds like maybe the thing to do here for these sorts of questions is a more general board inside the "Ask The Community" category. We could just rename the proposed "Getting Set Up" as "General Questions". With a description that opens it up for more broad asks.I like that the Getting Set Up forum isn't called Getting Setup.
How is this different from Troubleshooting? Is it just initial troubleshooting when someone first gets a device?
Where would the questions from people asking which product(s) is most suitable for their situation go? I'd have though Ask The Community, but it seems constrained to solving issues, not asking general, non device specific questions.
Have I misunderstood what Getting Set Up is for?
