Hi all,

I am totally new to WiiM so perhaps this question is already been discussed here (but I can't find it).

I have a Wiim Ultra. I have around 45.000 songs on my Synology NAS which runs Mediaserver/

In the WiiM Home App I see the server and can browse the songs.

Now my question:
If I select a genre (e.g. "dance") I get a huge amount of songs. Then, if I fill in a search-criteria in "Find on this page" (e.g. "Top 40") I get the wanted songs.

But:
1: if I play a song of it, songs which are not present in the filtered list, are played after it;
2: how can I make a playlist of the filtered titles?

Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Rien.

Solution
I found a perfect solution by starting "Audio Station" besides "Mediaserver" on my Synology NAS. In "Audio Station" I can create "intelligent playlists" which are almost immediately seen on the WiiM-app.

Thanks so far!
I tried to recreate what you're doing (with my much smaller collection), also running Synology Media, but I couldn't.

When I select a genre, enter a search term and git play, the the songs are played in the exact order shown in the search results.

I used my WiiM Amp Pro in this case, but that shouldn't make a difference. Are you running the WiiM Home app on Android or on iOS?

Hi harkpabst,

You wrote: "When I select a genre, enter a search term and git play" (I guess git must be hit). But I don't get a "play"-button where I type a filtering.
I did a test with an usb-drive and there it works!

Perhaps I'm doing something wrong....

Thanks,

Rien.
