Firmware update not downloading

my WiiM Pro is not able to download the latest update.
This is annoying because it also sometimes triggers somehow a “soft reset” (WiiM loses name and output/audio settings rendering it unusable until reconfigured manually).

I tried to download the update, but gets stuck on “downloading” 0%.

I performed a factory reset to no avail.
Power cycle, same.

Previous updates worked ok.

I don’t mind not having the latest software, but the “random resets” are highly annoying.

WiiM is connected via Ethernet.

Anything else to try?

Are there any firewalls on your local network?
Where are you located? Country restrictions maybe?

Submit a Support Ticket from within the App immediately after this happens.

This will send them a set of logs from internals on your WiiM, and could point them to the actual Issue.

I'm in the UK.
Nothing changed since the last update, but might have another look in the router’s settings.

The only thing that comes to mind is that I have ad blocking at router level (Unifi), but has been there forerever, way before I bought the WiiM. I'll check the logs.

This may or may not work for you, but might be worth a try.
Are there any beta versions available on your device? I have an Ultra so I can't check for you.
If there is a beta available, try joining it, then leaving the beta and it may put you back on the current firmware.
