Google home integration stopped working

At some point recently Google Home/Chromecast stopped working on my pro plus. The device is there in the home app. I tried rebooting the WiiM. I tried removing then adding the device from home, problem persists. Mobile apps see the device but will not connect. I can cast to other devices just not WiiM. FW 4.8.606452

Submit a ticket to WiiM thru the settings/feedback section of the WiiM app after trying to connect.

Submitted a ticket as suggested above two nights ago now. No response. I worked briefly last night but is now back to not working. Can cast to other devices NP just WiiM PP.

You may need to do a factory reset of the WiiM Pro Plus and set it up again

Yeah that did it but frustrating that I never got a response and not knowing why this happened.

Well, here we go again. Casting once again failing. This time I will wait on support to answer before factory reset as they can’t see the logs when you do that.

In case anyone else runs into this what finally seems to have done the trick for me is a static IP address.
