Has anyone get the failure of remote control from my new Wiim Ultra ?

My remote controller from WiiM Ultra stopped working after 1 month. No led light at all. Initially i thought it was the battery. Till then, it has been working perfectly without any issue. I raised a ticket.
Is it correctly paired with the WiiM?

If it has been paired once before it may have gone into standby. Then just press it, wait some seconds and then press again.

The WiiM Remote Control doesn’t have an LED Light on it.

And there's an icon in the WiiM Home app indicating when the remote is paired:

Still not impossible for a remote to become defective, of course.

Issue solved: I unplugged everything and went through the pairing process again. Now it works. Just strange that the remote got dissociated so suddenly.

My ultra’s remote fails to work quite regularly.
I unplug it & plug it back in and it works again.
I find this to be the first step in troubleshooting ALL my electronics almost daily.
No big deal it’s just the way things work anymore

As mentioned e.g. by @hgo58 above, it's usually sufficient to press any button on the remote to wake it up and then wait <= 10 seconds. The next button press should be recognised and the icon should show up in the WiiM Home app (might require closing the app and opening it again).

However, I only ever have to do that when I remove the mains power from the Ultra overnight (and that's what I normally do).

I'm pretty sure that this behaviour is repeatable. Since I got used to this procedure I cannot remember one instance where the remote behaved in an unexpected manner (and yes, it did confuse me in the past).
