HDMI dropouts

I have recently been experiencing drop outs in sound from my TV via HDMI, it only lasts a couple of seconds but happens frequently. I have tried reboots and factory reset to no avail, any suggestions?

Different HDMI cable? That can make a lot of a difference, best to use certified cables.

Did it work with the same setup before? Is the cable firmly inserted at both ends?

HDMI cables can go bad. I always have a spare or two around.

It was working fine before but I will try a different cable even though this one is less than 6 months old.

Tried another HDMI cable and it’s now functioning correctly.
