In a separate room to the HiFi (& WiiM Ultra) I use various headphones with a dedicated amp (Graham Slee Solo Ultra Linear) & the WiiM Pro Plus. My headphone preferences are Beyerdynamic DT1990 Pro MkII & occasionally Sennheiser HD650 or HD540 Reference ll.
Although I have listened without eq for many months, yesterday I tried out a 10 band parametric eq preset for the HD650s based on 'oratory1990's custom Harman curve Eq settings. The results are quite remarkable, turning these rather laid back, mid forward headphones into a far more engaging listen. I've also created the same for the Beyerdynamic's with different saved presets for the Balanced and Analytic earpads

.....example for HD650 click here which gives the resulting eq values:
& manually entered via WiiM Home desktop....
'oratory1990' has analysed a huge range of different headphones and produced the corresponding Eq settings for them. Nothing to lose trying out against any headphones forum members may be using & I recommend you try.
The results in my case have been very positive and an excellent use for the WiiM parametric settings.
(by the way, the use of 1990 in both headphone model number & the oratory user name is pure coincidence)
