Hi everyone!!!,

I've been enjoying the features of the Wiim Pro Plus for a few months now. I think it's an extraordinary product. However, I'm now wondering what suitable options exist for outputting sound to headphones, since it lacks mini-jack, USB, or other outputs.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

I’m using a Pro, and have my headphones connected to the Line Output using a cable with twin RCA Phono plugs to 3.5mm Stereo inline socket.

This works very well for me with various headphones, but might not be suitable if you already have something connected to your Line Output.

What is de Pro Plus connected to (upstream) and how? Amplifier, active/powered speakers, an external DAC or otherwise? The Pro Plus does have analog and digital outputs.

Please don't do that. It's a total impedance mismatch to begin with. Driving headphones you need current which a line-out can't provide. A line output expects a connected device with a minimum of 10K ohms.

Whether or not it’s a mismatch, it works well for me, and sounds great.
