help with home theater set up

I've got a Yamaha AVR with in ceiling speakers I'd like to connect to wireless speakers (Echo & Studio), using my TV as the source for sound (movies & music - Amazon music). I've tried the Echo Link and WiiM Pro, but not having any luck.

Lots of folks smarter than me on this forum - I appreciate any assistance you can provide.

Alexa home theater mode only works with fire tv devices, and the echo/Alexa devices being used must be identical. Doubt if even two identical WiiM devices would work as their firmware probably doesn’t support Alexa home theater mode.
