I am looking for a small stereoamp to connect my 2 Kef iQ90 floorstanding speakers to my tv. I would like to use HDMI Arc for that for the convenience and one remote solution, but unfortunately this Vibelink amp doesn't have an HDMI Arc input. I don't need the streaming capabilities of the more expensive Amp Ultra, and it seems also that the normal Wiim Amp lacks a bit of power, so I came across this Vibelink amp. Might there be a way to use it in a similar way using for instance the 12v trigger in some way? I like to have a one remote solution, using a Google Tv Chromecast remote now that can power on the TV and change its volume. Is the Vibelink an option?

Hi
As other members have suggested here, you could connect the smart plug to Vibelink and automate it in your Google home routine.

For example, a simple word turns on Google TV and the smart plug at the same time from Voice control.

Hm, I don't use Googles voice commands, so that is not gonna be an option. Or can one also trigger a smart plug at the same press of the remote's powerbutton (that switches on the TV)?
The Amp Pro has HDMI Arc in yes, but also a streamer that I would then pay for but don't use, but moreover I am not sure if it is powerful enough to properly power my two floorstanders. If it gets too work-aroundy with the vibe link, then I'll consider the Amp (Pro) or otherwise look outside of Wiim. :)

Your speakers seem to pretty versatile, especially with their sensitivity rated at 91 db. I would give the amp pro a shot. If you’re still unhappy you could return it and try another option.
