Hi,

Is it possible to have dual mono configurations?

In the manual :
"The WiiM Amp features one pair of passive speaker terminals (shown in figure below) and a separate subwoofer out to connect to powered subwoofer. You can output audio to speaker terminals in stereo or dual mono mode. "

Can you tell me how to actually configure it?

Thank you for your opinion.

Do I just set it up in the Wiim home app without a separate pre-amplifier (wiim ultra)?

Does it show up as one wim amplifier when playing with Tidal m connect?
It is just the WiiM device that plays the same Mono signal on both channels. It cannot play different streams on each.

What exactly do you want to do? I have no idea why the mono option is available but it isn't to turn the WiiM Amp into a monoblock.

In other words, you need a preamplifier to signal to a single amplifier, right?

Ex) Wim Ultra -> L (wiim Amp1), R (wiim Amp2)

And does it output 8 ohm 60W even if it's composed of mono?

I'm curious about the dual mono mode setting in the manual
I was wondering if the dual mono mode would be bridge mode?
You can drive one WiiM Amp per speaker if you use a multi-music group and play it on two WiiM Amps at the same time. However, I am not sure if that would work sound-wise.

If you already have two Amps, I suppose you could give it a try. 😁
