I am always playing preset 2 which is a Spotify Connect playlist that I start and stop from my tablet but I'd like to be able to do this from my Google Home speaker. My Wiim Ultra is named Bedroom in the Google Home app, assigned to the correct room and set as default device to play music. But when I say "Turn on bedroom", I get "Sorry, it looks like that device hasn't been set up yet" and when I say "Play preset 2", I get "blabla instead listen to this random playlist instead. Playing on Bedroom". When I say "Play music", I get "Alright, music on Spotify. Playing on Bedroom."

How do I get Google Home to play a preset or to just turn on the Wiim to resume what was previously playing?

You can’t control presets by voice either with Google or Alexa, plus I don’t think that the former supports a command to turn on a speaker as such - Alexa certainly doesn’t.

I guess you’ll need to ask something along the lines of “play my Spotify playlist xyz in/on bedroom”, or “resume music on/in bedroom”

Edit: I guess you’ll may be familiar with this webpage or ifmyou’re not, I hope it helps

Also, I believe the routine could be used to replace "play my Spotify playlist xyz in/on bedroom" with "preset 2" 🙂.
