I'm having trouble connecting to citation 500

I recently bought a wiim ultra and tried to connect it to my home speaker, the Harman kardon citation 500, via Bluetooth, but it won't connect.

Other Bluetooth speaker like JBL GO3 have no problems connecting, so why won't it connect?

Are you saying the ultra can’t see the speaker, or can but then fails to pair? Try selecting Bluetooth output from the ultra’s audio output page, and then put your speaker into pairing mode and hopefully it will show and connect.

If that’s what’s failing, try raising a ticket via the feedback section in the WiiM app so they can inspect your device log for clues as to why it’s not connecting.

Sorry for not explaining in detail.
I set my Citation 500 in pairing mode,
but the speaker did not show up in the available device list.

Does the Harman kardon citation 500 have a built-in Bluetooth receiver?
The spec sheet appears to be transmission only.

Sorry, but a closer look shows that it also supports reception.

The owners manual indicates that it does support Bluetooth as a receiver and also Chromecast

Have you heard back from WiiM Support yet?

In some common cases, pairing with a new device may not work if the device is already paired with another device.

If you have devices already paired with the citation 500, please unpair all of them and then please try pairing to the WiiM. If possible, you may want to turn off Bluetooth for other devices.

Wiim support team mailed me that citation 500 has compatibility issue so it's not possible to connect wiim ultra with citation 500 via Bluetooth.

That is unfortunate news..
I don't know the details, but it may be a profile issue.
