Introducing the WiiM Edition of the Audio Pro A10 MKII and C10 MKII

When will these be available in the UK?
I sent a DM to one of the Wiim staff on here, asking the same thing.

He kindly replied very quickly but it was a disappointing reply.

"I've been making sure to share the interest with the team on that one, but they haven't committed to releasing the WiiM Editions in the EU or UK. We'll be sure to announce if there's an official plan we can share, but there isn't currently one. Sorry!"

Not sure why there is no plan? Maybe a simple supply issue?

There is a supply..think about the regular version.
What does this with the sales of that version when the Wiim ones are sold for the same price or a fraction more..?
I assume most of the US customers are aware of the advantages of the Wiim version?

Who can send us some examples from the audio pro website where we can clearly see they are selling 2 different versions?

And if you look on the Amazon store and click on the Wiim version still i have to assume the customers clearly are aware of the two different versions?
The C10 normal version is sold for the same price..of they weren't , would a buyer be clearly aware of the fact there are 2 different versions...
And I assume the A20 is sold for the same price too.. maybe a little less?

Then you still could assume some of them are not aware? Maybe that's intentional?
If you click on the Audio pro store on the Amazon website will the two versions come visible or not?
Or are they only visible in the Wiim store?
Its seems confusing to me..

The non Wiim version will be sold.. can be sold..in the EU that is .🙃

Maybe as EU costumers we have to accept there will be no Wiim version available for us.
There are no plans for it.
This could help..it's an excellent speaker i have nou doubts of this. So if the price is good or you can buy one second handed( could be a c20)
I will compare it to the prices in the US.
Maybe just wait for the right price.

You could want the Wiim version ..and I do definitely..but there comes a time to accept this version will not be available here.
What's your opinion?

Seems to be there a no websites -at least that I know- who come up with lots of ship dropped wiim version ones.🙃🙃🙃

Ok you won't have the advantages if you choose for the regular one. But if it's clear the Wiim version won't be available here one can make a choice wether to go the normal version or not.
I think if the price is right you still buy an excellent product.

C 10 mk2 available here right now for 309..
Maybe if they go for 280..or just wait for a second handed ( A 10,C10, 20).
An opportunity..but i think there will be more..its a Dutch web page.
A showmodel of the addon C10.
A saw the c20 sold there for 360..

150€ for the c10 is a great price, I would instantly get it as a backup if it wasn't in the Netherlands haha. I bought the exact same one for 300€ some weeks ago. I also got the c20 and c10 mk2 a few months back in a sale but had to return both since it could not find out how to control them via API (which is very easy with the old models) and the c20 did some weird things in my network. I can totally recommend the c10, even though it is several years old it is still rock solid in my experience and I actually prefer the sound compared to the new model

@whereyoubeen .. you're right it's a great price.
Recently someone a sold the C20 also for a very decent price ( second handed)..360.
Maybe if you contacted the seller he would let it go for 350.

I agree_ even though I don't own one yet_ I'm convinced for these price these are on of the best wifi speakers you can get.
And I think they also make excellent sub woofers.
Yes in guessing but i convinced Audiopro delivers quality..if they weren't Wiim wouldn't work with them...wiim wouldn't choose this brand to work with.

Ill just wait a little bit but I think I'm going to buy the regular c 10 soon..

They do sound absolutely great, yes, especially for the price. You just have to be aware that the reputation of audio pro support is unfortunately true and that there is a world of difference between the wiim software and app and that of audio pro. As an example I wanted to use the c20 with optical in from my computer but as it doesn't autocodect the input and also has no remote you have to manually click about 8 times on the speaker to change the input which is kind of ridiculous. I have 6 different audio pro speakers and love them all, but if I would have to use the audio pro app instead of home assistant (or sometimes wiim app) for controlling them I would probably go insane

I can understand what you are saying. I think I just accept the , fact ' the Wiim versions won't be available in Europe.
If I could choose I would go for the Wiim one but accept i will have to control them now with the Audiopro software.
Software is important also the updates and support.. but ok i just accept the fact there are these limitations on the software side. No big EQ settings,No RC..
Hardware is very good im convinced of it .. for a decent price I'll accept the ,limitations, in comparison to the Wiim editions.

For this price I don't think there is a better one. The Wiim version, won't, be available or there is no plan for it..so choice is being made for the regular one.
Let's say 300, 280 for a new one it's time to take action.
Where could you go wrong with it.. I think you can't go wrong with this speakers.
309 Euro in the Netherlands..worth every penny in my opinion.

I am thinking about something crazy.
I live in Poland.
US Amazon shows I can order C10 Wiim Edition... in 3 working days.
So I consider this. Some question to you.
1. Has someone ordered it to Europe? Everuthing was fine?
2. What about waranty or even damages make while deliver? (it's a long trip).

Price (even with others fees) doesn't look bad.

Thanks,
Kris

It typically takes about three or more months after the release of a WiiM product for Roon certification to appear, so I’d guess the end of January 2025 at the earliest.
Still waiting, as of the early February firmware update.

I had a look on US Amazon for a C10 Wiim edition shipped to the UK.

It would of cost me £372 with shipping and taxes.

The Linkplay version is £259 in the UK.

I don't think it would be worth the £113 extra.

Think wiim version would be great ofcourse.
But i think you can't go wrong with the linkplay version.

If I have the money I will buy it.
This are excellent speakers..for the money you can't get a better one.

At the end I placed the order for A10 Wiim Edition with deliver from Amazon US to Poland, around 300 USD. I need to room around 12m2. - not big. For daughter. I think A10 will be more than enough.

I checked how much it cost to get one delivered to the UK and it was $272.51. I am sure it was a lot more than that when I last checked.
