In regard to discussions related to the above, i.e. near future interoperability between WiiM and Audio Pro (W) products.

”WiiM and Audio Pro have contacted What Hi-Fi? to clarify that, due to a miscommunication and to avoid any confusion, the new Audio Pro W-generation of wireless speakers launched earlier this month will no longer be described as "powered by WiiM" and will instead be referred to as "powered by LinkPlay" – LinkPlay is the parent company of WiiM. The change is to make clear that the new Audio Pro W-generation range is "not a part of the WiiM Ecosystem."
And: ”For further clarity, the only Audio Pro speakers that are powered by WiiM and integrated with the WiiM Home app are the A10 and C10, WiiM Edition speakers, available exclusively via WiiM’s Amazon storefront."

The previous generations have been using Linkplay modules as well, so why add an L now?What does the "W" mean then? Maybe they should be called Audio Pro L series

Why add a W if it doesn't mean WiiM?
For me, the W in Pro Audio indicates that it can be used/integrated with Wiim equipment/app
They should drop the W and instead write by LinkPlay.
The problem is probably that the error regarding the name has gone too far, so it is too late to change it.
But they should remove the W. I think people are going to get irritated when they get it wrong.

The Q&A on this new page makes for interesting reading, particularly where they blame "the public" for the earlier confusion and where they state: "Room correction has been removed from our app. We are not satisfied with the current performance. If the performance meets our criteria in the future we might add it." Mmm...

It is surprisingly difficult to find the UK in the lost of countries when you fill in the form. It's between Ghana and Grenada IIRC

The funny thing is that the Audio Pro App still references the WiiM devices, e.g. in the FAQs.According to the Audio Pro website, W now stands for "wireless"
So clearly a company that is not in control of their software releases.

WiiM must have agreed to allow them to use the software whatever they say now on the website. W for wireless, who is going to believe that? Are the old Audio Pro speakers not wireless?
