Iphone directory scrolling choppy

Hi all,
I use my Wiim Pro AirPlay 2 exclusively as a network media streamer/player via ethernet Serviio connection from my desktop PC.
It's been rock solid and I love it. Until now.
I switched to the Advanced mode offered by latest firmware/app update 3.4.3.x, re-scanned the library, and now the Iphone app scrolling of my library folders is not smooth at all, it's choppy/slow/jiggery to say the least. Before the update, the folder directories scrolled smoothly on the phone.
Any suggestions?
Also, is there any way to save my playlist so I don't have to re-create it manually if something goes sideways, say replace the network card with differnt MAC address or reinstall the phone app?

Ok, looks like I'm gonna answer my own question for the benefit of those with like problem.

1. I reinstalled the app
2. Chose to ignore 'built enhanced music library from' message
3. Bookmarked my root folder (shows in Favorites now)
4. Access said bookmarked folder from Favorites only, therby bypassing the 'build...' message

Conclusion: I think the 'build library option' somehow affected the metadata indexing of my Serviio content, and thereby caused browsing/scrolling problems on my iphone, even though it clearly states one of its improvements is 'premium metadata management'...
