• Streamlined Setup: Improved stability with added support for Enterprise Wi-Fi and easier streaming service selection.
• RoomFit™ Correction: Updated logic allows you to retry uploads directly without re-recording.
• WiiM Ultra Display: Added support for a "Black Background" option during playback (Requires firmware update).
• [iOS] SMB Support: Added support for anonymous login.

2. Visual & Interface Updates

• Improved Readability [iOS]: Added multi-line support for long track titles in SoundCloud, SoundMachine, Search, and Favorites.
• Visual Polish: Fixed blurry album art on Plex and refined the TuneIn "Now Playing" interface.
• Device Management: Optimized the "Grouping" interface
• "More" Tab: Layout for better organization

3. Performance & Stability

I'm also having similar issues with playback from Spotify to WiiM at the moment, seems it started after the WiiM Home App upgrade.

There have been general Internet issues with Spotify in the last 24 hrs - not a Wiim issue.

I see, thanks! I didn't have any issues a few hours ago, so I hastily attributed the current issue to the WHA update.

EDIT: Though it is a bit strange that local playback works fine (e.g. on my PC with Spotify Web Player), I only seem to have issues with Spotify Connect playback to WiiM.

I regularly have issues with the volume control with the Spotify App (side buttons at iphone) when connected to WiiM Pro+. At a certain point it does not work any longer (volume control in Wiim Home App always works). Shting down the App does not help - but the next day it works again...

What’s New:

1. NAS: Added memory caching to improve browsing performance.
2. Group Volume: Unified the Group Volume control on the player to match the Devices tab.
3. Device Discovery: Improved discovery with multiple devices on the network.
4. Plex: Improved connection stability and playback quality.

New Android app today: version 3.4.8.2025123016

It should give a better browsing experience for Synology nas, and you can scan your server. But it doesn't work, because it scans the main folder and not the music folder, so it finds no music...

Hello, I have the Wiim Sound Box and a question about Soundcloud after updating the Home app. I can no longer fast-forward through long tracks, only skip to the next track. Wasn't that possible before?
