JRiver Media Center Bug

I play music using JRiver Media Center from my media files resident on my NAS drive using DLNA. When MC gets to the end of an album, it stops and eventually, WiiM times out and goes to sleep.

When WiiM goes to sleep on my Mac, JRiver hangs and requires a forced quit. If I use the WiiM App to wake it up, the MC software is still hung.

But if I unplug the WiiM and plug it back in, the JRiver MC comes to life again.

I asked their tech support and they said they will provide WiiM a license for testing.

....I also have a Raspberry Pi and a Windows computer with JRiver software but I haven't yet tried it on other than a Mac.

I use JRiver on a Windows system (no NAS) and have not see this problem, although I have not tried it recently. It may be MAC specific.

Is this the same or similar to the issue you posted six months ago? Was that issue resolved?

That was different. It was resolved when Apple came out with an update. It was an OS bug.
