My Mini keeps dropping it's wifi connection

Finally got my vintage Sansui back from the shop & hooked up a WiiM mini.
It works great, but seems to only play 4-5 songs... then drops the connection & stops playing.
Anyone heard of this. I'm connected to my network wirelessly, and the router is only 10 feet away from it, BUT the puck IS inside a cabinet. TIA.

May be it is a silly question. But it would be my first try. Did you check with the Mini outside the cabinet?

Do as @Achim1811 says as first thing. Second, do you use 2.4 or 5 Ghz? Third, eventually try resetting the Mini.
I'm on WiFi 5 Ghz on both Mini and Pro and I have never lost connection

No clue. The problem has been resolved however. I simply moved the puck outside the cabinet.
