I purchased my Wiim Pro Plus a month ago on Amazon.it, it is version 3, to my ears I heard no differences by changing the original power supply with one from the iPhone.
I feel better if I leave the Wiim box without the lid with the open side facing up.

Why do you leave it open? Does it heat up?

Go to network status in WiiM settings see the IP in third line from the top and put it in the right place in the above link

So I suspect you have a "normal" Pro Plus revision as the one I'm testing currently is probably not yet available on the market.

Issues mentioned here do not affect your WiiM.

Why is the PCB version on the board different than the one read using the API? It should be the same. Request to @WiiM Support for comment.

There are 2 PCBs inside. And revisions marked on each of them can have different meaning than the PCB version reported by software.
Just my opinion.

yes, if correctly placed on the cabinet it is the PCB at the top

Thanks, this top pcb is for the DAC and ADC sections. At the bottom there is a PCB responsible for, among other things, power supply.

I checked a little while ago, it's version 2
