Hi all, I’m new to the forum and the wonderful world of WiiM.

After beating my head against a wall trying to get my old Sonos connect 120 amp (which I bought new in 2011) to actually connect, I decided to finally give in and became the owner of a nice new WiiM amp… WOW, what a fantastic piece of kit!

It arrived on Tuesday and I had it set up and working in less then 30 minutes with my favourite radio stations set as presets and my DLNA music collection playing too.

I’m SO impressed with the amp and the app and how well thought out and easy to use the two are. 👏

My system is very basic:
- WiiM Amp.
- Q Acoustics 2020 speakers on stands.
- My old Technics CD player bought new in the 90s.
- WDMyCloud NAS plugged into the WiFi router.

The only issue I’ve run into so far was several albums showed duplicate tracks - 3 or 4 of each song on the album. They were all fine when I looked at the actual files and displayed correctly on Apple Music on my Mac and on a streaming app on my phone.

After a bit of research, a DLNA database rebuild seems to have fixed the problem.

Very happy, wish I’d switched sooner! 😎
