No Bitrate Info Display via Spotify Connect?

Newbie on all things audio. Just purchased the wiim amp as an all-in-one audio device. Updated to the latest version (02Aug release). Mainly using Spotify and Apple Music (airplay). Found it odd that no information is displaying on the 'now playing' screen on the wiim home app. Airplay displays bitrate info on both AM & Spotify (with a weird reading on spotify displaying always on 2000kbps). Anyone else having this issue or is there really no info displaying when using spotify conect? Will add screenshots at the earliest opportunity as no access now on the wiim. Thank you.

According to support, the problem is temporary.
(At least it used to be displayed.)

I'm a newbie too. And I've also noticed that the bitrate information on Spotify has disappeared. Maybe the reason is that Spotify doesn't want to announce its lower bitrate compared to tidal, for example...

It's probably moot anyway as Spotify's bitrates are well documented viz. https://support.spotify.com/uk/article/audio-quality/

Read on other forums: Spotify formally asked wiim not to report its bit rates. To which wiim agreed, logically. The reason is obvious....it does not support comparisons.

It has been reported here in this forum that showing the bitrate doesn’t conform to Spotify’s UI guidelines for third party Spotify Connect implementations, hence WiiM don’t show it.
