I’ve noticed that if I change source using something external like Roon or even sometimes if I do it via http request the now playing section of the app doesn’t keep up. It will continue to list the song that was playing previously. Is there any way to force an update and keep the display in sync with what’s playing?

Noticed similar phenomenon with my ex-streamers and with the recent streamers. The "player-in-charge", mostly Roon but from time to time also the usual subjects Bubble, Mconnect or JPlay showed everything ok, but the WiiM* app seems to be late or no-show.
It does not disturb me because in this cases the streamers are only entry points. So if it disturbs you I would suggest asking WiiM.
