With the excellent RoomFit levelling out the room modes, and now the EQ being able to superimpose the desired sound signature I think the Wiim Ultra is an amazing sounding device. The problem is, these settings are still active when I select headphone output. This makes them sound off as my ears don’t really need room correction! Can there be a way of the Wiim Ultra knowing which output is selected when changing the RoomFit profile and possibly the EQ/PEQ. Normally I would leave the EQ alone and turn off RoomFit whenever I switch to cans, then I would need to turn it back on when playing through an output that supplies my room speakers.

I guess some people may supply multiple rooms using different outputs and it would be nice to have at least the RoomFit profiles independently set per output.

Thanks for reading this!

See the post in thread 'WiiM Ultra Firmware v5.2.725647 Update - Aug 8, 2025' https://forum.wiimhome.com/threads/...5-2-725647-update-aug-8-2025.7861/post-141626

isn't it possible to create a preset for such use case?
You can create presets but you need to manually switch the preset whenever you change the output as it doesn’t do it automatically. So to listen to headphones, i need to manually turn off any eq from Room Fit etc. Then when going back to speakers, I need to go back and turn on Room Fit.
