People! Tv sony optical up to 24 bit! Sony tv 55A8F have max volume pcm digital. When up volume on TV ..and ...Dac wiim ultra display 24 bit 48khz 2304kbs! Wow sound hear goodest. Perfect. hỗ trợ 24bit!

Hmm, I have the A8H. What music source have you tried? Apple Music? Tidal?

Most music sources have a noticeably different sound quality than HDMI Arc because it is 24 bit. With Apple TV, I tried a few movies and the sound quality of Dolbuy Digital 5.1 is quite good. For Tidal on TV, if in HDMI Arc mode, it is only 16 bit and the sound is normal, not stereo, if you switch to Optical port, you will clearly hear the difference compared to stereo. I think Sony's high-end TVs are capable of mixing up to 24 bit even though YouTube only supports 16 bit. I am definitely one of the few people who have researched and discovered this feature. A little more about Tidal, I have a paid Tidal account and high quality music up to 24 bit on the TV app, but at first I thought the TV did not support 24 bit, so listening to Tidal from TV was boring and the sound was not good, now I can turn it up to 24 bit Optical and everything is different....

I think the TV DAC has that amazing ability, because the audio is mixed to 24 bit very clearly and bit by bit, when you push the TV PCM digital volume in the settings to a high level near the maximum, the Wiim DAC will immediately switch from 16 bit to 24 bit. That ability is a perfect way to fool the Wiim DAC, or in other words, a little trick! Who knows, someone reading this article will have more cool new ideas haha...
