Persistent Qobuz Connect problem

My set up is a Pro as the master and three mini’s as slaves. Qobuz connect on a daily basis stops and will not advance to the next track. The only way to get it to continue is to reboot the Pro. I have raised multiple tickets but they have not come up with a solution. The last time they said it has to do with the SDK, whatever that is. I have done everything they have asked me to try but nothing works. This has been going on for months.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Thanks

Ok, then as far as I can tell Qobuz dropped the ball by not making a simple statement through their app or site explaining what Connect users can expect. Same for WiiM. Surely, WiiM must have known of this. Of the many email correspondences I had with them no one at WiiM knew about this? If that’s the case then that is some pizz poor communication between the two companies.

I understand how frustrating that must be.

With streaming services, issues like this can happen at any time. And Qobuz Connect is a brand-new service that hasn’t even been around for a year yet..

To ensure I can enjoy music no matter what happens, I subscribe to four streaming services, two of which are free versions. But my library is synced across all of them. So even if Spotify—which I use as my main service—were to go down tomorrow, I’m ready to switch to another one right away.

Is it fixed yet ? Looks like WiiM and Qobuz have taken a leaf out of Microsoft's book for updates etc - we are all the Beta testers (well in this case its so badly broken I would say Alpha testers) - Could be worse I suppose, could be Sonos...... ;-)

Don’t know yet. I’ve been streaming via QC for a few hours and so far it has been stable. And yes, it certainly could be worse.

From Wiim.........

Apologies for the inconvenience.
We are currently investigating the issue where Qobuz Connect playback may stop randomly, and we expect to release a fix soon.

Best regards,
WiiM Support

Right, it’s the same thing I’ve heard from them for weeks and weeks. They’re very good at blowing smoke. I hope it is fixed but it shouldn’t take someone, me in this case, to come to the forum and raise a little Cain. Apparently, doing so has lit a fire under their collective azzes. I guess my multiple raised tickets weren’t enough.

I hear Jules Winnfield talking. (Samuel L. Jackson in Pulp Fiction)

Just to add that I'm also having the same problems with Qobuz Connect and my WiiM Pro. It plays perfectly when I first select music (via optical to a REGA DAC), either an album, playlist or a long play queue. But once the music stops, 9 times out of 10 the WiiM locks up and the only way to get it going again is a reboot.

Other than that I still think it's a great bit of kit, so I'm not throwing my toys out of the pram, just hoping with crossed fingers they fix it, because until recently it worked perfectly :)

To jump onto this, my Ultra has kind of the same-but different issue, whenever I play specific tracks I will get the notification "an error occured while playing the current track". This only happens with Qobuz Connect AND the WHA, my phone plays these tracks just fine.
