Problem with synchronized multizone with Roon

When using Roon I can not group my Wiim Ultra with other zones devices that are not Wiim.
My Wiim Ultra is the only device I can not group and sync with other brand devices. I have Hifiberry's, PCs runing Roon and Chromecast audio devices, all of which can be grouped for synchronized playback using Roons RAAT protocol, but not the Wiim Ultra.

Any solution?

Also. I see the Wiim Ultra is Roon Ready, but not Roon Certified. Will it be certified?

Third question. I now see in Amazon the new Wiim Amp Ultra. It seems to have the same dac chip as the Wiim Ultra. The Wiim Amp Ultra is specified 32/384, but the Wiim Ultra only to 24/192. Why?

Thanks.

The only part I can answer: WiiM Ultra and WiiM Amp Ultra do not have the same DAC chip. It's the ES9038Q2M for the Ultra and the ES9039Q2M for the Amp Ultra.

If the Amp Ultra is specified to support 32 bit 384 kHz anywhere then this is most probably an error. The DAC chip is capable of processing data in this format internally, but input and output signals to the best of my knowledge are "limited" to 24 bit 192 kHz.

Hi yoyocint,

The WiiM Ultra is Roon Ready and has been officially certified by Roon Labs. If you're experiencing sync issues when grouping it with other Roon devices, please make sure you've run the latency calibration in the WiiM Home App. This step compensates for any delay introduced by downstream equipment connected to the Ultra and helps ensure perfectly synchronized playback.

If the issue persists, we’d be happy to help—just send us a feedback ticket through the WiiM Home App by going to the "More..." tab and selecting "Feedback."

Thanks again for your support!

Thanks for the reponse.

I found thet the grouping issue is not caused by Wiim.
One of the zones was setup as "private" in Roon, which prevents grouping. Grouping with chromecast is not possible due to changes in chromecast software, more specifically chromecast grouping has to be done in google home app.
