Qobuz does not play beyond cd quality on my Mini.

However Tidal does play high res on the same mini, and so does Qobuz and Tidal on my Wiim Ultra with no problem so it is not issue of cables or settings. Can somebody verify this please?

Thanks,
Tom

Settings are per device, so have you double checked the settings page in the Qobuz part of the WiiM home app for the Mini? Also, when you try the test tone under audio settings in the Mini, does 24/192 work ok?

The Mini firmware hasn't changed since the end of January so I wouldn't expect it to be the cause of the issue.

What's the Mini connected to that suggests it's only outputting CD quality at best?

I use Qobuz for streaming. I use a Mini with an optical connection to a Topping E30 DAC which displays the song's resolution. It shows 192/24, 96/24 or 44.1/24 when that's available. Just out of curiosity, have you gone into play.qobuz.com through a web browser or the Qobuz Connect app and checked the max resolution selected?

Yes, Qobuz plays hi res through my Wiim ultra, but not through Mini. Wiim home app has the hir res option always shaded for Mini (Ultra is ok).see below. I feed optical from Mini to Aiyima t9 pro. When I feed Tidal in the same manner I get hi res so I assume it must be limited on Qobuz side.

Ok, that is a strange one. I'd try logging out of Qobuz in the WiiM app for your mini, and login again. Failing that, raise a ticket to WiiM via the more/feedback section in the app so they can inspect your device logs.

And one can always try the classic solution for anything computerish -- reboot everything!
