Delivered today. Cannot seem to stream Bluetooth from streaming radio station.

I have paired Amp Pro w/ Android S22 for app purposes, and successfully completed setup. Once I complete setup, App screen shows "Devices," and under that, the Amp Pro Bluetooth with a little icon of four little moving (up and down) vertical bars. But, there is no sound from my speakers. I did succeed in getting sound from the speakers playing a song that is stored on my Android (S22), so I know that works. When I use the Android to bring up a streaming radio station, I can hear that stream through the Android speaker, but cannot get it to play through the Amp Pro.

What does the blue light on the Amp Pro indicate? The instructions (I downloaded from the web) seem to be for the Amp AS WELL AS THE Amp Pro, and mention a red, white and green LED, not mentioning blue. I have seen the blue solid and flashing, but have no clue what they mean.
I tried to pair the Amp Pro with my computer. It would not pair. I tried to pair with ANOTHER smart phone. It would not pair. The instructions say to put the Amp Pro in pairing mode by pressing the knob for 3 seconds. What that does is to put the Amp Pro into setup mode. The instructions also say that if you set input to Bluetooth (using the app, I guess), Amp Pro will automatically go into pairing mode:

"Just navigate to
the ‘Browse’ tab and select the ‘Bluetooth’ as your input source. In this case, if
there’s no device connected to the WiiM Amp, the App will initiate pairing mode
for WiiM Amp automatically."

Tried this, as well. Still unable to pair with either the computer or the other smartphone. I wonder what "if there’s no device connected to the WiiM Amp . . ." means. The Android S22 is connected to the Amp Pro, and is running the WiiM app.

Perhaps there is, somewhere, instructions for the Amp Pro (as opposed the the Amp) that might clear some of this up?

Thanks for any help/ suggestions.

The WiiM device has both input and output Bluetooth. It's not clear to me what you want to use.

The blue light indicate Bluetooth input is active/paring.

Thank you for your reply. I am trying to use Bluetooth input.

What is the difference between solid blue LED and flashing blue LED?

I am unable to pair with any other Bluetooth device beyond the Android S22 phone I am using to run the WiiM app to control the Amp Pro. Using that same phone to stream classical music from a local radio station, I can hear the music on that phone's speaker, but am unable to get the Amp Pro to output the music to my wired (from the Amp Pro) passive speakers. I know the Amp Pro connection to hose speakers is working -- I can listen to a song stored on the phone through those speakers.

I appreciate your help.

Flashing light means waiting for input Bluetooth paring.

Note that the WiiM Home App is using your local network (WiFi) for controlling the WiiM device, not Bluetooth.

So select Bluetooth as input on WiiM and on your phone select the WiiM to pair with it in the Bluetooth menu.

Thanks.

I've now succeeded in pairing the Amp Pro with my computer. I am streaming the internet broadcast stream from a local classical music radio station (via Bluetooth) to the Amp Pro. Bluetooth on my computer shows I am connected to the Amp Pro and the WiiM app shows the source and content that the Amp Pro is receiving from the computer. HOWEVER, even though the WiiM app shows audio output as speakers (wired), there is no sound coming from the speakers. I know the streamed music is reaching my computer -- I can hear it through the computer's speakers.

I should note I was having the same trouble with my new Ultra (purchased about a week ago. I posted about that and submitted a ticket -- no solution, as yet. I sure would like to get this solved.

Is there a source volume control for Bluetooth on your computer, like there is on a phone for example? Can you Bluetooth from your computer to another device to check?

I've connected my CD player to the Amp Pro via toslink. I've got the autodetect input set to on. The Amp Pro is woking fine with the speakers. Plenty of volume. I'm about to do the room correction and then try the ASR-recommended EQ settings.

I've successfully streamed from the computer to the my earbuds and to my Android S22. Just noticed that the computer sound settings gives me the option of selecting 'Where to play sound': Realtek Digital Output, or speakers. I have had it set on speakers. I will try the digital out, but I doubt that will solve the problem as I have succeeded in streaming (to other devices) with 'speakers' selected heretofore.

Why would you need to do that in the first place?

The WiiM Home app has native support for some radio stations (e.g. Radio Paradise), native support for vTuner (so you can play all stations available through that service) and it supports "Open Network Stream" where you can add and store any streaming URL on the Internet you can get your hands on. Which particular station could not be played using either of these methods?

Most probably your computer knows more than just one output called speakers. When you hover with your mouse over the loudspeaker icon in the task bar or just left click on the icon you should see more details of what "speakers" are in use. When the WiiM Amp Pro is connected, the left click should show a volume slider for a device called "Speakers (WiiM Amp Pro Stereo)" or something very similar. Hovering over the speaker icon should show something like "Speakers (Bluetooth)".

Edit:
And I even forgot to mention TuneIn, just in case.

I appreciate and TU harkpabst for suggestions and help.

"Digital out" did the trick for my desktop. Only problem is that if I am using the desktop, all sounds (including those generated by whatever program I am using in addition to the streaming), go to the Amp Pro. Guess that cannot be helped. Also, changing the device from which I stream (e.g., from my desktop to my Android) is a convoluted process: must disconnect the first device, turn off the Bluetooth on that device, then turn on Bluetooth in the other device, then try to pair and connect. Half the time I've messed up the steps and must start over and 'diddle around' trying to get it right.

I wonder if vTuner is a free app? (I'm on a tight budget and can afford but one streaming service (and have not yet pulled the trigger since I have yet to determine which one supported on the Amp Pro will best serve my tastes). I like to listen to classical music, particularly chamber music and baroque and early music. I like to listen to "Sunday Baroque", which has streaming on its web site, or else stream it from VPR Classical (Vermont Public Radio). I recognize that the signal quality will be superior once I select a streaming service to use via WiFi. I am already impressed with the quality of what I get from my CDs played on my CD deck and sent to Amp Pro via toslink.

I am awaiting delivery of a Polk PSW10 that I got on special for ~150 US$). (Yes, I know this is not high-end, but it is within my budget, and from the reviews, it sounded pretty good for the $.) I'm looking forward to seeing how it will improve what I hear from my Borea Triangle BR03's I already own and (long after acquiring the BR03's) I have read the less-than-stellar review on ASR).
