Recently played does not work with USB files

If I use my phone to start a album playing on USB, Wiim does not remember what I was playing. It has no trouble remembering that I played a Tidal album, why not USB ? Come on Wiim, get with it!!!

I mean on the device... the "recently" button on device home screen does not show recent USB albums

For this and your other issues, you’d be better off submitting a bug/feature request ticket direct to WiiM via the more/feedback section in the WiiM home app. While WiiM visit this forum periodically, it’s primarily a user discussion and support forum. Raising a ticket means it’s logged in their system and can be tracked along with similar requests.

Consider selling or giving away your Wiim device. You're not happy with it so much is very clear, always seem angry and badmouthing the people behind Wiim and you don't see yourself doing it, that's the sad part. We all see it, but you don't. Please leave...

Is this a new observation?

Some users noted that with the 5.2.720535 firmware the global search tab no longer displays results for USB disks. I don't say it is but this could be related if it did work before.

I cannot tell, I never use this feature from the touchscreen display.

Sending feedback through the WiiM Home app (ideally right after you tried the function that doesn't work) is the way to go.
