I have run the room correction routine for my Wiim Pro and prefer casting Quobuz from the app rather than through the Wiim app. If I do this, will the room correction EQ be applied or is this only done when accessing Quobuz directly from the Wiim app?

In my experience you want to get the best response from a microphone during the Room Correction process. I use this microphone connected to a Pixel 3a with the Wiim Home app installed: https://www.daytonaudio.com/product/1117/imm-6-idevice-calibrated-measurement-microphone. They also make a USB-C version for newer phones, including iPhones. I already had this calibrated mic from a few years back, using it to EQ mics in my church with the AudioTool app for android. It's probably not perfect but it's better than my aging ears.😊

I originally tried your microphone with the same Pixel 3a phone. I found that it rolls off at low frequencies. So it definitely isn't perfect and results in too much bass boost.
