RoomFit Moving Mic Measurement (beta) - improvements

These were recent, yes, taken on the day I posted them. So far I don't believe I had a case where the response deviated from expectation when I remeasured in REW.
I have sent feedback but couldn't include all the images I intended to as the limit is 5. Let's see what happens next. The evaluation results from the WiiM app differ when sweep or Pink noise is used with the sweep being more similar to REW.

Very surprising results, interested to hear what @WiiM Support say.

Usually MMM and sweep look almost identical below about 200Hz.

Except of course if there's any low-frequency ambient noise - sweep is resistent to that, but MMM isn't - so ambient noise can cause unexpected peaks in the MMM response.

The mmm WiiM evaluation is consistently incorrect compared to the sweep evaluation from WiiM and both sweep and mmm results from REW. I wish you saw the same thing 🙂

I verified whether I could reproduce your issue.

I fixed IMM-6C and ran RoomFit (25–300 Hz, L/R, MMM). I then evaluated the saved profile using pink noise and a sweep.

The results match, but is my approach incorrect?

That is what I would expect. Can you also check the response in REW? You saw my two completely different evaluation results.

Is there an advantage to scanning the left spraker without the right, and then the right without the left? Just a transient thought.

This is what the "Individual Channel RoomFit" variant does.
It allows one to optimize the response of each channel, and usually translates well to the combined (L+R) response as well.

I performed evaluations using pink noise and sweep with the RoomFit profile I created earlier, and measured the results using the Android app (Sound Analyzer Pro).

No noticeable difference is found below 80Hz. 🤔
Just me then. I wonder now when this started happening since I haven't checked the output with REW for a long time. I'm using a WiiM Amp. Which devices are you and @dominikz using?

Currently I'm using WiiM Amp Ultra, WiiM Mini and a WiiM Sound. Haven't noticed this issue on any of those.

I tested it on the Amp Ultra. Has the latest firmware for the Amp already been delivered to you?
