For anyone that has an SVS sub, do you just use the Ultra room correction or the SVS software?

I have tried the RC with 2x SVS SB-1000 Pro and Neumann KH 120 (Y-Adapter) and it is really great for me (20 Hz to 1000 Hz). I am using a Pro-ject Pre Box RS Digital as DAC per USB and measured left and right separately.

I have the exact same sub, I would recommend that you only use the DSP in the subwoofer for the following reasons:
It’s usually base frequencies that need correction, so the bult in DSP in the sub is enough.
You won’t do any resampling/DSP-”magic” (nobody knows how the DSP in Wiim works currently) in the Wiim that could affect the sound in any way if you use the subs DSP instead.

I too have the SVS SB-1000 pro sub. My setup prior to using the Ultra, included amp, preamp and DAC separates from Schiit audio. I bought the Ultra because it has the connections I want and for the bass management. Bass management from the Ultra requires that my subwoofer be connected to the Ultra. If I then connect my main speakers with the audio going from Ultra to DAC to preamp to amp to speakers, then the subwoofer and the main speakers are on different volume controls. To get around this for a few months, I took my preamp out of the system so sound went from Ultra to DAC to amp. This sounds good and the bass management keeps my main speakers from having to process the low bass frequencies which otherwise caused boomy and over resonant bass. With this setup I use the WiiM app’s subwoofer settings which worked well. As I say, I set it up this way for a few months. Recently, it was bugging me that my preamp was no longer being used. I added the preamp back into my system. I now think the sound is fuller with the preamp included. With this setup I use the settings in the SVS app to configure the subwoofer. I am not sure how, but with the preamp included and the current sub and speaker placement in my small room, I do not hear the excessive bass resonance that I was hearing when I first got my Ultra.

How Do you know the frequencies to equalize in the SVS? Do you have alternative measure-equipment? Sorry for my english.

Yes, I use the "Housecurve" app on my ipad with an UMIK microphone connected via an USB C hub.

But you can just do the Room calibration with the Ultra and it's app, and then "copy" the EQ settings it applies into the SVS's DSP, they are visible in the app in the EQ page.

Are you saying that using the Ultra introduced the boomy bass?
That sounds strange, usually it is the room causing it, and adding a subwoofer can actually fix this because you can place it somewhere where those frequencies are less affected by the room AND use the Subs DSP (if it has one).

I did, but the ranges in the SVS (F. E. Decibel) aren't wide enough. The result done by WiiM Ultra is better. I have a diffucult room. But I was surprised by the results. I do not use the Bass Management of the unit, because the SW are connected to the DAC.

I am not saying the Ultra introduced boomy bass. I am saying the Ultra, with bass management and subwoofer settings in the WiiM app, removed the boomy bass. However when I added back my preamp, I could not use the bass management. As it turns out the sound is quite good with the preamp and without bass management. The bass management definitely does work if your configuration allows you to connect your subwoofer to the subwoofer out on the Ultra.
