Shortcut 1-4 for hdmi+optical?

Is it possible to set hdmi arc or optical to be on shortcut 1-4 on the remote? That is the only thing what bugs me when switching between these two sources.

The current road map does include an option to customise the four buttons on the remote, hopefully this will make this possible but we will have to wait until it's released.

I’d like to second this request: I’d greatly like inputs to be assigned to the shortcut buttons.

I would use this regularly to switch to line in (for vinyl) and switching inputs in the app is really quite cumbersome.

I discovered a little trick that helps you do that immediately....
Your Wiim amp or player has an onboard API that you can call over http.

When you go to Open Network Stream inside the app and you enter either one of these url's and save them as a preset, you can switch directly to your desired input on your Wiim device.... map them to either preset number available on your remote and you're done

your-ip-adress = the ip address of your wiim

One way could be if the WiiM understood the following sequences from the remote:
Input followed by number 1 - line in
Input followed by number 2 -phono
… number 3 - hdmi
… number 4 - optical

The ideal solution would be this but customizable
