SILVER WiiM Amp Ultra

Just spotted this on the Polish Amazon site - product is not available as of now, but still... What do you think of this? I personally prefer my dark grey version, although for sure the silver one better matches the Remote 2.

I have a silver Wiim Amp Ultra on order from Amazon UK. The status for both Sliver (sic) and Space Gray were showing 'Temporarily out of stock' until Tuesday of this week when Space Gray became available. It likely will only be a short time until the silver becomes available.

But up to now (to the best of my knowledge) no Silver version was announced by WiiM - it was available only in space gray. Also on their web page such silver version is not presented. So: it looked like this would be be space-grey-only device (like Amp Pro). Therefore I think it is really good news - it looks very nice in silver and many users may actually prefer this one (including me - I would stick to the space gray only because this better matches with the rest of my equipment).

Richer Sounds, also UK, have the Wiim Amp Ultra silver listed as 'stock due September '. I currently have a silver Wiim Ultra and if my memory is correct I think it was released about 6 weeks after the Space Gray. I guess it will be the same with the Amp Ultra, but I'm hoping though that it may come out before that.

For anyone wanting a silver amp ultra, they are now available. Mine arrived last night from Amazon UK.
