Sort albums alphabetically

Find it weird albums in USB attached drive are not sorted alphabetically by title. And box sets are broken up - a few here - a cluster there.
Can this be added to your development consideration list? Thanks!

How have you tagged your box sets? It looks like you've given each one a unique album name.
I'm aware of very few servers that support box set tagging using the discsubtitle/setsubtitle tag i.e. MinimServer, Lightweight Music Server and Lyrion I believe (though without disc artwork).

I imported them “as is” using dbPoweramp. The broken up box set is one issue - the lack of sort alphabetically by artist is the real concern.

It's not that the "box set" is split up (because technically they're individual albums), it's just that the albums are sorted in chronological order because you're viewing an artist's discography.

Chronological order makes more sense to me than alphabetical. I suppose choice is always good

Well Grateful Dead - I am looking at 58 years with 525 albums / recordings so any way to sort it would be nice.

I suppose the.main issue is that the album year isn't the performance year.

If the box set were a single entity then it wouldn't really matter, but it's always nice to have the option of release date/original release date/album title.

Is this the WiiM Home App running on iPadOS or the beta version on a Mac or something else?

The Android version of the WHA allow to sort albums by Title, Artist, Year or Artist+Year.

IpadOS - in Album view you can sort. In Album Artist and Artist view you cannot.
(Reminder this is for an USB drive plugged into the Ultra)
