I am using the following (latest versions of both):
Wiim Ultra, firmware 5.2.637652
Wiim Home App, v 3.0.4.241204.5d859e
When using my liked songs within Soundcloud, I try to select on song on the list but it plays something else. For some reason I can't get it to play songs I want from the liked song list. It does work if I search for the song and select it. Anyone else have this issue?
I have tried rebooting the Wiim and restarted the app, but it didn't fix the issue.
I have the same issue that's started over the last couple of days. Completely randomly. When streaming tracks from my liked list to the wiim ultra it seems to get caught on certain tracks. Either skips to them repeatedly, or stutters over and over.
I have found that there are certain tracks in my liked list that the wiim does not like via the soundcloud app. Painstakingly I have whittled out these tracks and moved them to a separate playlist and unliked them to remove them from the list.
Found I had 10 fairly recent ones that were causing the issue. Now that they are out of the liked folder all the rest of my liked tunes play fine from the soundcloud app. BUT, this is a frustrating work around.
All tracks from the playlist and liked list play absolutely fine via the wiim ultra app version of soundcloud, but the playlist ones will not stream to the wiim from soundcloud itself.
The problem I've now got is when liking new tracks when out and about, I will have no idea if that one will stream to the wiim ultra. I fear that each time there will be a need to mess about moving certain tracks to my separate playlist.
I find the soundcloud app has better visuals and control than the wiim ultra version, so would prefer to use that - but seems a whole load of messing about is now needed between the two apps.
Have sent feedback to wiim too. Hope to get a response.
