Spotify lossless problem

I’ve been using Spotify Lossless on Wiim Pro Plus since it’s been available at November. So far it’s been working fine until today where i can’t play Spotify using the lossless option but it working fine on the very high option. But i can play spotify lossless on my Android device. Anyone’s experience the same problem?

Thread 'wiim amp ultra and ultra with spotify connect'

Hello...
I Have wiim amp ultra on guest room, and wiim ultra at my bedroom... both device also standby with power ac plugin...

first problem i have is, when i want to stream spotify using samsung galaxy S23 (android 16) to one of them, No spotify connect is show up, only google cast is show up on both ultra... BUT this not happen when i use my iphone XS MAX, or PC...

second problem is, my SONY TV KD65X80K when i plug hdmi4 to PC or SAT DECODER,
HDMI ARC (hdmi 3 on tv) make communication failure between TV and Wiim Amp Ultra.
but when i unplug hdmi 4 and do restart on TV and Wiim amp...


IN SHORT: on Android currently, the only way to connect to the WiiM devices is through Google Chromecast, which doesn't support Losless quality. Before there was the option to choose between Chromecast or Spotify Connect (lossless supported)

There seems to be an issue with the Spotify app right now. Your problem might be related to this. In my case, I can no longer play music using Spotify Connect.

It's been happening for a few weeks already. Also: it is not an issue specific to WiiM devices. It happens with other streamers as well.

Make sure to contribute to the Spotify community post as well to draw their attention!

2 temporary solutions:
- disable chromecast service on the WiiM device
- disable wifi on your phone, go to devices on Spotify: if previously used with Spotify Connect, the WiiM device where you previoiusly logged in, should still show up

But i'm never turn on chromecast option on my Wiim Pro Plus (always using Spotify Connect)
