Spotify lossless

Hi
It seems I now have Spotify lossless, however, after many attempts Spotify keep informing me that my Wiim Pro Plus will only support v high res streaming and is not capable of lossless operation. Any ideas?

Have you cleared the Spotify app cache, checked that your Wiim's firmware is on the latest non-beta version and power cycled your WiiM?

With the Pro plus connected to Spotify Connect, open the sound quality settings screen in the Spotify app and select lossless. If the screen is greyed out, try rebooting the Pro plus and deletingthe Spotify app cache (or reinstalling).

No I haven't done any of those things. As a new member and now quite an ancient one any help with technical matters would be appreciated.

What type of phone is the Spotify app on?

As for checking you're on the latest firmware, go into the WiiM Home app, then select more/ firmare updates then check for updates. If it shows an update is available, choose update

I think it's sorted. I updated the beta software and can now click on the lossless button. Many thanks indeed.

Yes, it's all good now. I rebooted the Wiim and updated to the latest non beta version. Thank you so much for the help. It's made a Big difference.!!

It doesn't have to sound much better. But in my head, it's lossless.

Really great Only had my WiiM for a month. My Tidal trial just finished, so great timing. Spotify sounded disappointing before. Not now.
