StdBy and Sustainability

Please add a feature to turn the WiiM Ultra into StdBy with the App immediately.
In times of Sustainability this is essential.
Same goes for the "play" knob.
You could add a "long press" for StdBy mode.

Is the 30 secs standby option too long?

Sometimes 30 sec. is too short, sometimes 5 minutes is too long.
I appreciate any possibility given.
But sometimes I like to turn stuff off, when I am finished.
Should not be hard, as the remote already implements an off knob.
Why the need to get up, and get an remote, when the app is at hand?
Just giving ideas here

Just note that the WiiM is not really off, just in a standby mode. You will not save much power, unfortunately.

I think that both are independent, but valid and useful requests, indeed.

Personally, I'm not in a strong need for either, but this has been requested often enough, so some definitely are.

I've set mine to standby after 5 minutes, and then it also turns off my power amplifiers which pull 48 W at idle by trigger. I like to have the clock up in standby so I don't use the off switch on the remote or Squeeze-LX.

But yes, anything that can reduce the WiiM's power consumption if the user wants to is welcome.
