Sub built in crossover?

I'm thinking about getting the sub for dual use, at different times.

1. Everyday use - wireless with sound and sound lite speakers

2. Occasional use - Hard wire from my turntable decks for extra bass. The only audio out I have spare from the mixer is RCA red and white (full sound). If I fed this into the sub would it filter out the high and mids or does it need to sub frequencies only?

I've looked online and cannot see if this configuration would work or not. Any advice appreciated.
Thanks!

The WiiM Sub Pro does have a built-in low pass filter but it has a single physical mono RCA input only. Do not use a Y-cable to connect the L and R output from the mixer to the mono input. This is potentially dangerous, in particular for your mixer.

Also, even if you connect a physical RCA cable to the Sub Pro, it is still paired to the WiiM Sound Lite/WiiM Sound. The low pass will still be set to the same frequency and it was pure coincidence if that frequency would suit the speakers connected to your mixer.

You could "move" the Sub Pro into a different setup using the WiiM Home App whenever switching between both scenarios, but that's not exactly convenient. If you ran Subwoofer RoomFit with the Sound/Sound Lite setup, the results won't fit the other setup. So, basically you would almost do a new configuration of the WiiM Sub Pro every time you switch between your use cases. Plus you have to find a safe way to turn your mixer's output into a mono signal.
