Sub noise

@anonyless

so the culprit is the wiim ultra..

yes analog rca to amp, there is no way im going to by a seperate dac to solve it.

I can sell my amp and buy a 2 channel integrated and connect the wiim true optical, but i need the wiim for PEQ. Will i lose PEQ?

2 channel integrated > ls50 meta and sub > wiim ultra optical. so wiim on fixed gain. But the signal will go through 2 preamps. i dont know what to do.

Some kind of audio noise eliminator. I bought this one (picture) from the Thomann online store. It affects the sound quality a little, but in your case you could buy a better quality audio noise eliminator. Which wouldn't affect the sound quality much, at least not much. 1000003261.jpg

thanks but im not willing to lose quality. if its a wiim ultra hardware issue than i need another streamer
I also looked at streamers that have balanced output on XLR connectors recently. Prices start at around €1000. I don't think Wiim has balanced streamers at least yet. Of course, that would fix that issue if there was a balanced streamer. Good luck to find solution at cheap price. 👍

IF is the key word here. you don't know, neither do I.
you don't need to replace your amp, streamer or anything else if you're happy with your equipment -
just find someone who can loan you any DAC and see if it "solves" the problem (it's more of a workaround) -
"worst case", you can buy SMSL SU1 DAC which is highly rated piece of equipment (and small) for 70-80USD on AE .
I had one already from a previous setup, and connected the Ultra's optical output to the SU1, and to the amp- this eliminated any group loop noise.
