Ultra and Wi-Fi 6E

Even 5ghz is becoming congested especially if you live in urban or dense populated area. That’s why new band 6ghz was open up.

I will write it in Polish. Dziecko internetu nazwisko sieć😋6Ghz i to ma być dowód połączenia. Tylko dla kogo, chyba takich samych nieuków.

The internet's child is called 6Ghz network, and this is supposed to be proof of connection. Only for whom, probably the same ignorant people. Please

Please be mindful of the forum rules where kindness and courtesy are expected in responses - calling others gullible or ignorant hardly falls into that category. Thanks

The worst app I've ever encountered. Either everything is added the same way or not at all. The hardware is OK. It should be thrown away along with their never-working Wi-Fi 6e.

Spotify is different because it's not integrated into the app (there are very few Spotify third party implementations) but relies on Spotify Connect. I added a Spotify preset only this afternoon by following the easy-to-follow instructions here:

If you have any other off-topic issues, please start a new thread - this thread is specifically about WiFi 6e.

Due to such significant discrepancies between what the manufacturer describes and what is officially used (WiFi 6e), it doesn't work and never will, and the customer is being misled. Tomorrow I'll be filing a complaint with the European Union alleging that the minimum sales conditions haven't been met due to: 1) the lack of clear information on the website and in the product itself that it can't be configured without a good phone (it's like driving in Adidas shoes at over 300 km/h without a car). 2) WiFi 6e doesn't work regardless of the configuration, because right from the start, it states that only 5GHz is supported. I won't mention the software itself, which forgets all settings, because it's a shame. The device works as it should, but it has bad software.

This audio equipment, priced at just PLN 399, has a super-clear interface and allows you to configure everything however you want after logging in. Then, it's just a matter of using the app and adding everything.

@cattani43, I think you've hijacked this thread for long enough.

You have clearly set out your plan to protect your rights, so I would appreciate it if you didn't repeat yourself too often from now on. Please come back to us as soon as you can provide us with an update on your progress.

Please note that this is a community forum intended mainly for users helping other users. If you don't need help, but want to make some statements in the direction of WiiM, the easiest way to contact them is through the 'Feedback & Tickets' function in the WiiM Home App.

Are you disagreeing with yourself here?

Perhaps your frustration stems from a failing at reading comprehension.
The WiiM Ultra specs state:
Wi-Fi 6 (Upgradeable to Wi-Fi 6E): Ensures stable and high-speed wireless streaming
and in the Model Comparison Table:
Wi-Fi 6, BT 5.3 (Will be upgraded to Wi-Fi 6E via software update.)

As of today, the only WiiM devices which advertise actual WiFi6E are the Sound and Sound Lite speakers.
