Okay, I have a USB drive attached to my Ultra, and it contains all the music I regularly, or am likely to listen to. But I also have a substantial chunk of music ripped from CD that I'm not likely to listen to anytime soon, but which it's possible I may want to access at some point.

Problem - if I stick it all on my current USB drive, it'll be unnecessarily cluttered, with hundreds of artists, albums and tracks which I have to scroll past, but which I may never use.

So my idea is to add a USN hub and a second drive. First question, is this possible? I'm presuming yes, but I thought I'd check that first.

Now, there's a question of how it'll look.

Okay, first page when accessing the drive is this - click on Home Music Shares on the top right.

I then have the option of what to choose. In this case, second one down, "WiiM Ultra - Main Speakers..."

Then I get this, with a choice over the top of which view (Songs, albums, etc.). I use Folder View, for which you have to scroll a couple of icons to the right.

Now, if I click on 'Folders' I get this. My USB drive's folder structure starts with a folder called 'Music'.IMG_2487.jpeg

So, my presumption is, and my working idea for how I'm going to structure this, is to have a second drive with a top folder called 'Other Music', and I presume what you'll see above will be test saying "2 Folders", followed by the option to click on either 'Music' or 'Other Music'.

So, has anyone tried this (2 USB drives on a hub), and is that how it works? All done now, feel free to chip in.

Many thanks.

Unfortunately no, looks like only one usb storage drive can be used, hub or no hub. When I tried it, the new drive was seen under Folders, and the previous indexed content under albums etc was still there but inaccessible

Well, I finally got all of my music over on to the WiiM's SSD.

Total music just over 30,000 files (though some will be folder icons rather than tracks) using up 642GB, so still room aplenty on the 1TB drive.

I used the 2 folders (rather than 2 drives) approach, and it appears to have worked well.
