Way back in June I was upgraded to firmware version 5.2.719053 (build date 6 June) to resolve an issue with casting from Mixcloud. Since that time I have not received any of the announced Firmware updates. Am I in effect stuck on some unofficial beta for the foreseeable future? It would be nice to know!

In the Device Info screen you could try Join Beta Testing to force one of those to be installed, then leave that beta which should result in the latest public firmware being installed.
This would almost certainly mean that you won't be able to go back to your current version. Well, not without support's help.
An if the above doesn't work, send feedback to WiiM through the WiiM Home app and ask for being removed from the list for this particular firmware. Your device logs will be send along, so WiiM will know whic UUID or MAC address to remove.
