User Profiles

Being able to choose between multiple user profiles with personal presets - recently played - playlists would be boss. 😎
My (lovely) wife can preset to her faves and I to mine for example.

A different history is stored for each phone in the 'Recenty played' section of the Favourites menu. Your phone and your wife's phone should have different histories.

Your suggestion is so interesting, but given that presets can control input/output and volume, it can be complicated to set up if several users have different presets.

I’d be fine if we could get separate Artists & Playlists.
I want my (did I mention lovely) wife to look at her list (Taylor - Keys - Adele) and think 😍
rather then seeing Grateful Dead Phish Billy Strings and thinking 😖.

Agree.

Which streaming service does your lovely wife mainly use? 🙂

I mainly use Amazon music, but I can't sort Tracks, Artists, Albums and Playlists. It would be great if these could be sorted in the order of most recently listened to.

We share a Qobuz Duo account. (Therefore would be restricted to locally created playlist within the WiiM app,) Since you cannot have multiple Qobuz accounts attached to a WiiM I think the easier approach will be to use naming conventions. _Playlist for and X_Playlist for me. Not very elegant but c’est la vie.

You can also buy a WiiM Mini for your wife's use only and connect it to the Ultra's input.
(The Mini is not Qobuz Connect compliant, so she would need to connect it to the Ultra.)

the app was a showstopper for me.
Yeah 😂
