Immediately after updating to latest firmware I get very little bass output. Adjusted eq to max bass. It does make a small difference. Nowhere near what it was seconds before update. Tried rebooting, checked settings. Nothing has helped. Any ideas?

Where submitting a ticket means: Head over to the "More..." tab in the WiiM Home app and tap on "Feedback".Immediately after updating to latest firmware I get very little bass output. As the team has implemented a rollback here, he only needs to explain the situation on the ticketWhere submitting a ticket means: Head over to the "More..." tab in the WiiM Home app and tap on "Feedback".
You can describe your case shortly and attach any screenshots if you like. Most importantly, device logs will be transmitted automatically, so the WiiM staff can hopefully see what's been going on.
Wasn't that just a single rollback for a single different user?As the team has implemented a rollback here, he only needs to explain the situation on the ticket![]()
I think they are both the same problem. The team is already aware of this issue and will roll it back as soon as he submit a ticket.Wasn't that just a single rollback for a single different user?![]()
This sounds very similar to this issueHi Rushfan,
Please submit a ticket from the WiiM Home App. We'll troubleshoot this for you immediately. As Wiimer mentioned above, you can also go to the device setting > Device Info > Join beta testing and select the last firmware and see if it makes a difference.
Thank you for your continued patience and support!
After updating my WiiM Amp the frequency response measured by REW is exactly as expected. Try measuring if you can then we can see exactly what is going on.In fact, after updating the latest firmware of WAU yesterday, I also encountered the same problem - the feel and power at lower frequencies were somewhat weakened. In fact, each firmware version has its own unique sound characteristics. You'll have to wait for the next update to see if there are any changes.
I never observed this behaviour with either of my WiiM devices. In fact, each firmware version has its own unique sound characteristics.
I noticed that I had to reboot (or maybe even power cycle?) my WiiM Amp Pro for the converted RoomFit profile to be actually applied. Right after the conversion process, no EQ (neither direct nor through a RoomFit profile) was active.I had this issue too. When I first downloaded and installed this update, everything was fine until I got the popup to save my rc settings as roomfit settings. I experienced the same thin sound, lack of bass and too much treble. I just ran room fit again and it's back to normal. (Ish)
I would suggest that screenshots are taken as a reference for those who have put a lot of effort into their room correction settings.
Edit.
I had just come from the seperate RC and EQ beta so I didn't raise a ticket. I thought it was my own error.
I did try that, but it was the same. I just redid roomfit and now it's sortedI noticed that I had to reboot (or maybe even power cycle?)
This is not a problem of room correction, but a problem of firmware version. The official has released the corrected version. We hope that WAU can also be corrected.我确实尝试过,但都是一样的。我刚刚重做了房间装配,现在它已经整理好了![]()
It could just as easily be a firmware update that removes the need for users to perform that roomfit workaround to resolve the issue..这不是房间校正的问题,而是固件版本的问题。官方已经发布了更正版本。我们希望 WAU 也能得到纠正。
