Thank you - it hasn't been showing for quite sometime. I thought maybe it never was showing and that I was seeing things when I first purchased the vibelink. Now I can do the updates.
After about 2wks of daily (near constant) use my new Vibelink reported "Disconnected" in the Wiim Home Devices list, and then disappeared off it. So I registered tonight to ask the same Q, builtbyty, but then spied this thread so thanks for anticipating my issue and thanks Ronnie for solving it
Any idea why/how this happens - is it just a Bluetooth thing?
Hadn't thought about this since I generally don't control my Vibelink with my phone, but I just checked and my VL amp is also missing from my WiiM app. Odd, since it used to show up with no effort on my part.
Thanks. That fixed it but still odd that the amp would disappear like that while still working ok otherwise. But I figured out long ago that we are here for the computers and not the other way around.

The WiiM Vibelink Amp is still advertised as a "pure power amp" and that's really the best way to think of it.
It might benefit from a firmware update once in a while but that's about it. Apart from this it's very much a stand-alone device that does not depend on future updates too much.

Please activate your Vibelink device and then launch the WiiM Home app.
If your Vibelink appears in the app, follow the on-screen prompt to update its firmware to the latest version—this should resolve any intermittent disappearance issues.
If your Vibelink does not appear, please help us investigate by submitting feedback through the app: open the More tab and tap Feedback. Our engineers will review your report and address the issue promptly.
